Complicated and uncomfortable, X7e4 reflects the complexity and breakage of our time. It brings together anxiety, adversity, hope, ire, frustration, grief, and recognition, often changing quickly, and at times in contradictory unison. It’s not a comfortable place to be, but part of a journey. Ranging from urgent off-kilter dissonant rhythms to glitched arrangements of opposition to intense industrial soundscapes to dark ambient textures, X7e4 is an electronic soundscape of entangled aspiration and disarray.
